The role of a paramedic is to provide safe and efficient response, treatment, and transportation of all persons requesting or requiring emergent or non-emergent medical services. In addition to being qualified for everything an EMT can perform, paramedics are qualified to perform more advanced procedures and offer advanced life support. These capabilities allow for greater patient support and a wide range of career growth opportunities from nursing school to firefighter training to SmartCare.
Our 14-month program features cognitive, psychomotor, and affective learning techniques which integrate instruction, practical skill sessions, simulation, clinical practice, and a field internship. Program participants will attend lectures and clinical rotations at area hospitals as well as home study assignments. The Paramedic Training Program is partnered with Endicott College offering 29 credits towards a bachelor’s degree upon admission to Endicott College.
The Cataldo Education Center Paramedic Program is now offered to Cataldo team members for just $79 per month. To qualify for this special rate, team members must be full-time and have worked for Cataldo Ambulance for six months in good standing.
This course will meet Tuesday's and Thursday's and every other Saturday. All classes will be held at the CEC Woburn - 15 Commonwealth Ave, 2nd Fl. Woburn MA 01801

Paramedic Program Requirements
- CPR and State EMT or AEMT Certification
- Minimum one year EMS field experience
- 18 years of age
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Total Tuition: $13,500.00
